Dr. Elizabeth Dennis is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine Surgery specializing in the management and surgical treatment of knee, shoulder, and elbow problems. Dr. Dennis utilizes minimally invasive arthroscopy and other advanced surgical techniques to address musculoskeletal ailments such as ligamentous knee injuries, meniscal tears, patellar instability, cartilage restoration, joint preservation, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears and shoulder arthritis. Dr. Dennis completed her medical school and residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University. She completed a Sports Medicine Surgery Fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery. During this fellowship she was part of the medical team for the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Mets (MLB) and the Brooklyn Cyclones (MiLB). She currently serves as a player physician for the US OPEN. Her special interest is in patellofemoral research, work that she has published in several peer reviewed journals and presented at the national and international level.
